By car
The city center is a restricted traffic zone, and it is preferable to get a foot within the walls. However, there are possibilities for paid parking inside and outside the walls. To park inside the walls, if you arrive from the motorway (GREEN SIGNAL), turn left and then go straight until the ring road in front of the walls. Then go straight by keeping the walls on your right, continue ahead along Viale Carducci, the first door you come to is "Porta S. Anna" through which you can enter inside the walls. Follow the signs to the parking fee inside the door. If you prefer to park outside the walls, you should instead take the ring road and turn to the right side keeping the walls on your left until "Carducci" car park located along the boulevard of the way.
By train
If you arrive in Lucca by train, you can reach us by walking for no more 'than 10 minutes leaving the station, take the "Viale Regina Margherita", turning left along the Walls. After about 200 mt., go inside the Porta S.Pietro, then continue for Via Carrara and Via S. Girolamo to Piazza Napoleone. From there continue on to Via Beccaria, then turn right on Via Roma; after 20 meters turn right again and you will find yourself in "Corte dell'Angelo".
Turn right again and in the small square there is the Bed and Breakfast "Al Cardinale Lucca" at number 13.
By plane
The nearest airport is located at Pisa, about 20 km. From there you can reach Lucca by train or car, in just under half an hour.
